Jack Horkheimer always makes me think of Doctor Who. When I was a kid/teenager, Maryland Public TV ran Who (in the anthology format) late Saturday nights and before and after, they always ran the Star Hustler short for that week. My friends and I made a certain amount of fun of Jack (he was always so over-enthusiastic and is one of those people who gained more hair as they got older), but I always appreciated him and his work.
Yeah, same here. I liked his enthusiasm, and I like to think I was laughing with him and not at him, because the information he gave was always very useful and if I'd lived in an area that wasn't cloudy 99% of the time I would have gone out and started looking up...
