It's Here

Don't expect any blogs for the rest of the day. And maybe none 'til late tomorrow. The new laptop has arrived.

First thing I noticed: the new laptop, still in its packaging, is a LOT lighter than my current laptop (known as Abe).

The new laptop's name is Art or Artie, depending on my mood. If I'm upset, I'm sure I'll call it Arthur.

I got up and running on this machine WAY faster than I expected. The move from my old laptop was surprisingly simple. Open source software lends itself to being moved, I guess.
