Firefox Frustrations

I hate to say it, but I'm just about to move over to Chrome. Firefox just has too many bugs. I constantly get script errors, and it's always gobbling too much CPU. I'm writing this on Chrome, which will take some getting used to, but may be better in the end.

What browser do you use?

Firefox has a better implementation of AdBlock and has some superior development tools, so I use it, but for refugees from the Microsoft Gulag, I usually recommend Chrome.

I'd be interested to see which sites are buggy in FF and not in Chrome tho, speaking as a web developer. Ping me at bat@flurf.net any time, because it should be almost impossible to get a site wrong in a way that Firefox and Chrome would respond to differently.

Firefox got buggy on me about a year ago, with major freezes at an increasing frequency. Made the switch to chrome, and am glad I did. Tried safari at the same time, it wasn't for me. Added benefit, when I later got an ipad, Chrome syncs bookmarks and open tabs pretty good (passwords are still hit and miss).. Though on the ipad I've been using something called Dolphin more and more, it has some good features the major ones lack.

I had to stop using FF a couple of years ago when it kept freezing on me, usually on startup, as in it wouldn't fully load. I'd been using Chrome as a second browser (so I could log into 2 Gmail accounts at the same time) and just wound up switching permanently to Chrome. I rarely have had a problem with it.

At work, I've discovered that while FF works well with most sites, it works poorly/not at all with others. Chrome, though, interfaced badly with software our techies put on, so can't use that. My alternative is IE.

Still using Firefox on my old Macbook for blog posting, but definitely Chrome for Facebook games, Firefox can't handle them. And Safari is the only one that works with my office's remote Citrix-based system.
