Tales of Stepford House - Doorknob Repair

Today, I tightened two doorknobs that have been rattling for a few weeks and attempted to fix the front door, which has been sticking. The doorknobs were just a case of popping off the decorative frame and sliding the latch (little arrow) down until the knob popped off (see this post for information about the little arrow), then tightening the screws.

The front door has been sticking, and I wasn't able to solve that problem, although I have a theory I now want to try (which means putting the cat back in the bedroom so he can't wander outside, which he was trying to do while I worked on it before) and I may be able to get it fixed.

I'm not always a handy person, but when I am, things get done.
