Word Nerd for the past year...

I promised to try to keep people updated on my opinion columns, but it's been a year since I did so. Well, here's a few, starting with the last one on that list, which still holds true this year...

I don't think this is all of them. Some don't make it to the internet, and there's a couple I wish I could disown. I think I'll also try to put together a page linking online versions of stories that I particularly liked, whether I enjoyed doing the research or just enjoyed the final result. My newspaper only puts a tiny fraction of what we publish online, so a lot of my work never makes it to the web. I'm fine with that, but it does make it more difficult to brag.
