I Love Getting Weather Updates

...WINTER STORM MOVING ACROSS THE AREA THIS WEEKEND...

Thanks for the warning, yeah.

A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL TAKE PLACE THIS WEEKEND.

How significant?

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON. THIS WILL BRING RAIN WITH SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS. WINDY CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY.

That doesn't sound so bad.

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL MOVE IN ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY WITH TEMPERATURES WELL BELOW NORMAL.

Eek.

SNOW WILL BE LIKELY AT ALL LOCATIONS INCLUDING THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.

Double-Eek.

SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS...ESPECIALLY THE CASCADES AND BLUES. THE COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

No traveling over the mountains this weekend. Got it. Hey, my appointment with the sleep specialist has been moved to Monday morning. I hope the snow is gone by then. I'm not a good snow driver.

THOSE PLANNING TO TRAVEL ACROSS EASTERN WASHINGTON AND EASTERN OREGON FRIDAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS...AND VERY COLD TEMPERATURES.

Got it. I'm gonna have to be ready for snow driving on Monday. Yikes. At least my trip is nearly all on the highway.
