Pumpkin-Shell Shocked

I'm still stunned by how many children visited our house last night. We could have easily gotten up to 500 if we'd had the candy available. Some of our neighbors clearly did. We were expecting maybe 60. Not over 300.

In Bothell, 20 was a good year. We had over 300. I can't get it through my head. I'm still too stunned to believe it. Wow.

And I really ought to not feel guilty that I didn't have enough candy to go til 10pm like we usually did in Bothell. Really. We'll be ready for next year. I hope. I'm not sure how I'm going to get enough comic books, since I ran out of those too. But I'll figure something out. Maybe I can order some "free" comic books from a retailer for Hallowe'en 2009.
