I'm going to work my way backwards through Facebook's confusing system and try to get all the videos Eric has posted for his Song of the Month series. Today's month is March 2021, and the song is Happy.
Mar 1st - Song of the Month, Day 1: It's time to blast ahead and jump start spring. After a couple months of downers, we really need something upbeat and funky. So I looked at my list of potential songs—and there was only one choice!
Mar 2nd - Song of the Month, Day 2: My Man in Japan, Michael-sensei, an English teacher, asked me to post this, as it was filmed in the town where he works. Okay, I said, why wait? Here it is!
Mar 3rd - Song of the Month, Day 3: Well of course "Happy" got the Postmodern Jukebox treatment!
Mar 4th - Song of the Month, Day 4: Walk off the Earth teams up with Parachute for their cover.
Mar 5th - Song of the Month, Day 5: Well of course Pentatonix have a version!
Mar 6th - Song of the Month, Day 6: It's Satire Saturday! So what else am I going to show?

Mar 13th - Song of the Month, Day 13: It's Satire Saturday, so as promised, we're revisiting Weird Al Yankovic's "Tacky". During his "Mandatory Fun" tours, Al would open with "Tacky" somewhere outside the venue, and he would be seen on the big screen on stage. Then he'd sing the song as he walked up to the venue, enter in the back, and finish up on stage. Pretty cool! Here's a compilation of what he did. He got pretty creative. I think this one even includes his stop in Seattle (which I sadly had to miss), which was at the WoodlandPark Zoo!

Mar 16th - Song of the Month, Day 16: Look out, it's a long version today.
Mar 17th - Song of the Month, Day 17: "Happy" St. Patrick's Day from Galway, Ireland!
Mar 18th - Song of the Month, Day 18: Four cute redheads singing a countrified cover? Yeah, that sure makes me "Happy"!
Mar 19th - Song of the Month, Day 19: Someone had the guts to use "Happy" in the blind auditions for "The Voice" when Pharrell was a judge! (I am amused that Pharrell not only turned his chair for Brian (and Brian chose him as a coach), he even said Brian sang "Happy" better than him!)
Mar 20th - Song of the Month, Day 20: It's Satire Saturday! I looked through several, but it seems most people can't spoof "Happy" without being crude. But then I finally stumbled across this gem. Enjoy!
Mar 21st - Song of the Month, Day 21: Maroon 5 does a cover for BBC Radio.

Mar 29th - Song of the Month, Day 29: Fellow "Doctor Who" fans, here's Foxes, from "Mummy on the Orient Express", with a VERY different cover of "Happy".
Mar 30th - Song of the Month, Day 30: I've neglected finding live versions by Pharrell himself this month, so I'm going to make up for that with double features in these waning days. Today, it's duets. Here he is with Stevie Wonder!

Mar 31st - Song of the Month, Day 31: We wrap up our month of "Happy" with some live performances by Pharrell Williams all by himself. There are quite a few out there, so I just picked two representative ones. First, at the Apollo!
